Greg earned a Bachelor of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) and a Master of Science in Psycholinguistics with a focus on the bilingual mental lexicon and language acquisition. Ove the past 25 years, Greg has taught with several universities and colleges, including University of Alberta's Faculty of Extension, Concordia University of Edmonton, Norquest College, Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, and Yellowhead Tribal College. He has also taught English language courses and researched with cognitive science, linguistics, and psycholinguistics groups at Korea University and Seoul National University. In addition to teaching English, Greg has also taught teachers at Seoul National University of Education. With many interesting colleagues, Greg has co-published many scientific papers on bilingual processing, and other psycholinguistic topics.
Greg founded Canadian English Language Services in 1995 and incorporated it in 2017. It is needless to say that Greg wears many hats. In addition to working as a teacher and editor for other organizations, Greg has also always operated his business, offering top-notch services to newcomers as well as native speakers of Engish needing to perfect their written documents.
More than anything, Greg loves playing with his son. Camping in the summer and skiing in the winter are the two main activities which bring the family togther for adventure, but reading, sports of all sorts, and Lego fill in all the fun time in-between.
